What is the Inline Widget?
The Inline Widget is one of the two ways that the Widget can be installed on your website.
It is a self-contained inline module, incorporated into the page.
The Inline Widget allows End Users to interact with the App in the same overall way as the Overlaid Widget, but with some notable differences due to it being incorporated into the page, rather than positioned on top of it.
Desktop experience
When the width of the browser window is greater than 490px, the Widget Window is incorporated into the page. If Featured Content is active, the relevant Content Items are incorporated into the Welcome Message.
Mobile experience
When the width of the browser window is 490px or less, the Widget Window is replaced with a modified version of the Welcome Message which incorporates the Widget Trigger in the form of the Widget Trigger Button. The Widget Window, when triggered, is displayed in the same way as it is in the context of the Overlaid Widget, namely on top of the page filling the whole browser window.
